For issues and debates culture and gender has never come up at all. For Cognitve i hope the 8 marker response is something like Tulving LTM. I don’t think Brendgen or Capafons has been an 8 marker ( i could be wrong).

I wouldn’t be surprised if it did bc there isn’t a lot they can assess anymore with the studies/theories unless it’s like a discussion question. For issues and debates there’s a lot of repeats but most of the time it is under a different topic. I made a list myself but excluded the 2024 qs on the list IMG_0550.jpeg
and scenario qs.

This could have errors on it. I didn’t put ethical bc i think that came up for 2024 + socially sensitive but I couldn’t be bothered to write the full question

yh I don’t think it will come up, can pracrical investigators come up as a 8 marker and if so how would u structure it coz I have no clue😭

IMG_0551.jpeg For the 2021 the mark scheme it is like this so the ao1 is what practical issues is etc and then the ao3 is the GROVE of your practical. I’m kind of confused too bc i thought it would be fine to mention the procedure, aim and results of the practical as ao1.

But it shows AO2 not AO3?

Mb the question was the titled “discuss the practical issues you considered in your etc” not an evaluation/assess question so that’s y there is ao2 instead of ao3 bc you are applying what you did in your practical (:

does anyone have a list of the 2024 questions? or even just a guess at what they were?

Yeah, they could ask us about our practical, in that case structure it like any study. Do AO1 on your aim, sample, procedure and findings. Try put in if it was significant results or not, and honestly you can make the results up as long as they are believable. And then do AO3, 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses like any other study. 😁

I made a list of all the 8 markers (and issues and debates) asked from 2017 onwards so im going to focus on whats not been asked yet although they could repeat. they’ve repeated hormones

how are you all revising the issues and debates, thats what im finding the hardest because im so clueless on the entire thing and i have no idea what to expect btw my school only started doing issues and debates in march time so its sooo late to revise anything

I&D is basically a summary of everything we've learnt. The way I do it is for each one i'll go through the four approaches and see where it is applicable, e.g for culture and gender in social:
AO3-Milgram's research may be considered androcentric as his sample consisted of 40 male ppts
A03+ Results may not be androcentric because Burger replicated his study including females and found similar results
Your AO1 points can either be the procedure of the studies or key points from the issue and debates
