Edexcel A-level Psychology Paper 2 - 21st May 2025 [Exam Chat]

apparently carlsson hasn’t show up as an 8 or 20 marker. the tt user @miss.edexcelpsychology managed to be pretty accurate with her predictions for paper 1 and she did upload paper 2 predictions as well

I don’t have TikTok and can’t download it bc storage. is it okay if you could list her predictions? It’s ok if not

Methodologies that could come up as 8 markers- cross sectional studies, grounded theory, content analysis
She says that there has been very little that hasn’t been assessed but they could make an 8 marker a 20 marker/ vice versa
In 2024 no schizophrenia came up

Are you sure no schizophrenia came up isn’t any kind of impossible? I think my teacher said it was OCD/the optional module that didn’t come up last year

No schizophrenia I did it as a mock and there’s none at all. The 8 markers were on depression/optional module in clinical

KEY QUESTION WILL COME UP!! They’re always in either Paper 1 or Paper 2!!
There might also be some biological stuff in there since Paper 1 didn’t cover much. And EVALUATION OF CLASSIC OR CONTEMPORARY STUDY (8 marker) will probably come up too since there was only short answers questions in Paper 1. 😊

I’m not sure if it could be a twenty marker (I myself haven’t practiced doing one) but there’s only ever been one 8-mark question for Criminal psych (my school’s chosen unit) and one 16-mark for clinical. I’m hoping edexcel will continue to be nice and give us an 8 mark otherwise i’m lowkey done for 😻

I do crim too! There was a 16 marker for clinical? I thought clinical was only two 8 markers and a 20
marker
