Predictions? Last year's paper was Messianic Secret (redaction criticism) (8) Wilson and Morison's explanation of the resurrection (12) Signs in John (10 & 20 mark) and Kingdom of God in Luke (30).

Interpreting Scripture was an 8 marker in 2023, so it could be a big question on Fri. I also get the feeling the 30 marker will be on reasons why Jesus died/purpose of the 4th Gospel, since they've asked about Jesus's ethics quite recently.

I'd also recommend revising titles of Jesus, authorship of the 4th Gospel, prophecy regarding the Messiah & Biblical Criticism.

guys i literally havent looked at new testament since january, and i cba on doing anything today. im gonna cram all of it in 2 days

I think the same I said this a couple months ago to my friends. I think if not then the resurrection or crucifixion. What does everybody else think? And what are we thinking could be the other questions- even though predictions don’t really mean anything as we are seeing lmao

i genuinely cannot predict new testament at alll. and seeing how paper 1 and paper 2 threw me sooo off with them litch reusing past questions. i’m finished for new testament

i think i’m deffo gonna go over the resurrection, crucifixion, johns prologue/fourth gospel and I am sayings. but apart from that idek where to start

Hi everyone, the crucifixion narrative can only come up as a 10 marker right? bc i just have analysis of the anathology for it. Specifically, Luke 23.26 - 24:53.

if it comes up as a 10 marker then it would be the 20 marker aswell. crucifixion can also come up as 30

Could be something like analyse the idea that the resurrection cannot be proved to be true. Or analyse the idea that naturalistic explanations for the resurrection are sufficient. I can see something like that coming up

2022 - "The Jewish authorities were not the only ones responsible for the death of Jesus." 2018 " Evaluate the claim that the religious and political authorities came into conflict with Jesus because they misunderstood who he was." these are both the topic why did jesus have to die right?
