I'm just very scared that the cost of tuition for International DPhils may be too expensive to fund. I really wish they could let us know at least if we have been nominated for awards and if they are just in the process of securing funding partners. That would really go a long way in easing anxiety.

Yes I have to say I am quite upset at having to wait this long...i keep asking myself what if all DPhil awards went out first to very few who aren't on this forum, and now it's just Masters?

I hate to be that one person..but it's like there are rocks on my chest until the end of June...to work so hard for a DPhil offer...

Hey, I totally understand you. I'm in the same situation as you. The whole process was so competitive and exhausting, and right now, we need a miracle. I can not afford to study at Oxford if unfunded

If it is right for us, and the timing is right, it will happen by the grace of God..just praying I can accept and move forward with my life and the outcome of this scholarship whether positive or negative.

I received a RAF scholarship today, June 12th, for a one-year master's program. For reference, I got the email at 11 AM UK, and the letter is dated June 9th. I hope those waiting for the DPhil results get positive news soon!

Congratulations 🎊 Did they partner with your college or your division? Did you have to switch colleges?

Hi guys, I've lost all hope - I honestly just don't know what I did wrong on that application or what made me a weaker applicant... Happy for everyone else though! Hopefully we hear more positive notifications before the end of June

What do you guys plan to do if funding doesn't come? Just curious, does it make sense to defer the offer? Cause no one knows how it's gonna be next year. Or maybe you have other ideas, some external funding sources?

From what I was informed, financial constraint is not a basis for a deferral at Oxford. For my DPhil, most funding bodies are UK/Europe based and fund at the Home Rate. That leaves a significant amount left unpaid since I am an international student. I wouldn't be able to pay up the balance. My country also doesn't offer scholarships to Oxord.

Yes! It’s partnered with my department and a different college than the one I was originally going.
