What’s the student life like at Newcastle University? Is it more study-focused or social? Are there any clubs or societies you’d recommend joining as a new student? that's superb and active

I recently graduated in Psychology from Newcastle University and I found it the best of both worlds! There are lots of designated study spaces and libraries for busier academic periods but there is a very active student life. We offer over 160 different societies and 60 sports clubs you can join from any level.
The city is small but bustling and you're only a 15 minute metro ride from the coast. I found it the perfect city to explore on my own and with friends. We are known as one of the UK's friendliest cities and we are affordable too! We also have Northumbria University in the city centre so there are lots of students. This means student social activities are plentiful as well as reasonably priced.
