i yapped for that one and talked about how carbon dioxide enters via the stoma and water enters root hair cell by osmosis and travels up the xylem in transpiration. Then that was the extent of my knowledge so i just said carbon dioxide and water is reacted to give oxygen and glucose. (glucose being stored as starch in plants) wbu?

see i thought this question was so obvious I got stumped LMFAO, since it was only 3 marks I talked about chloroplasts contain chlorophyll which absorb light energy which is used to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen for respiration (and glucose for food for the plant)

I said that the energy from the sun is absorbed by the chlorphyll in the chlorplasts and this energy splits the water (H2O) into H ions and O molecules. The H ions then join the carbon dioxide to make glucose and then water is made as a waste product. Is that right??

i think so. these are light dependent and non light dependents stages, I was gonna talk about this but I forgot how it worked LMAO

I just put energy from sunlight is used to split water into oxygen and hydrogen ions, then i gave the symbol equation. Then the hydrogen ions react with carbon dioxide to produce glucose, then i gave the symbol equation for that. I hope I get 3 marks on that...???

Also what about the improving accuracy question for auxin?

It was like you had to join the boxes and it was either compare with other groups or take more measurements of parts of the root, i put take more measurements but im not sure its right.

I think it was like the an onion and they knew auxin was produced in 2 areas and they wanted to improve accuracy.

TBH I don't remember what the question was about the root cell , tbh im just guessing the one i am talking about might have been about but i know it was about auxin and they had to improve the accuracy. what was the question about the root cell?

there was no plant hormones in the paper im pretty sure.

it talked about staining and why it was important

I knew everything else but the question to describe photosynthesis what you would normally do in B1-2 lol but what did u say for the 6 marker

I said it stained the sub cellular structures to make it more visible. Idk kinda a vague answer but I didn't know what else to put

for the 6 mraker , i decribed a water bath experiment with different water baths, each having a different temp (20-100) and place each test tube in a different one and I said to maintain the volume of the catalase and hydrogen peroxide. Repaet and find the mean result of ( I stupidly talked about mass thinking that foam would increase mass) but I think u had to measure the height of the foam with a riler
