It’s fine it was just one mark

how isn't it water ? any "small molecule produced" question regarding condensation polymerisation is H2O/steam

Reply 101

nah it said CoCl, so the small molecule is HCl

Reply 102

This is what gemini said: Yes, the synthesis of nylon, specifically types like Nylon 6,6, often involves the release of hydrochloric acid (HCl) as a byproduct

10000% sure
yes it was dm^3 but that doesnt mean you divide by a thousand cause i was in grams already and for moles you use grams not kg

Reply 104

yeah the answer was 23,160 dm3

Reply 105

Guys what was that 2 marker where you had to draw a diagram and idek the product of something (it was after the other diagram q ABT drawing the polymer for polysthene thingy??)

Are u sure it was dm because everyone in my class got 23 thousand
The answer line gave the unit as dm^3 I think, so you didn't need to do any conversions - 23 thousand and smth was right

I think you needed to draw propane, because propene + hydrogen gas -> propane. C3H8

How do we think grade boundaries will be
...or will OCR remain evil and increase them to 80 ://

Reply 109

are grade boundaries gonna go up or down

Reply 110

Guys the functionl groups were carboxyl and hydroxyl , L shaped ester link . Calculations were , 0.20 , 23,160 , 4.25, and molybdenium

grade boundaries were 147/180 in 2023 then 154/180 in 2024 so this year it might be the same becaus e the papers were so easy for me and i just did a few sill mistakes like multiplying 16x3 as 64 where it was 48 it paper 3 leading me to get 84 instead of 76 and the lithium strip thing and the graph 2 marker in paper 4 and the meniuscus titration volume thing

It’s was like 46000 kg then you had to find the mole of it by diving it by 44 then after you had the mole u would have to do volume is equal to mol times 24 then it was like 965 mol times 24 and it was like 21360

I don't remember which fertiliser I got 😭 the one with the most nitrogen and er the other p one not the roots one I don't remember

Yes I got that answer for the 2 marker and the rest as well, for the functional groups I wrote carboxylic acid and umm alcohol 🙏🏽🙏🏽

wait u had to draw a tangent???

i dont think you had to draw a tangent because i did a past paper question for a graph of rate of reaction and it didnt use a tangent it just got the 2 values and divided them

I got that one cuz of gcse business 🤣 you can say things like they’re easier to automate, they can produce lots of products quickly, less workers needed etc

what about less frequent shut down periods

Do u think because the part where the nylon forms wrong I won’t get the marks for how it’s extracted? I accidently put it forms in solution b but I wrote the extraction part correct I think?

What was the disadvantage of the fuel cell?
