do you think lady catherine or bingley would come up?cuz they’re sort of difficult and imo too minor

i'm actually convinced Lady Catherine will come up, but since the social class has came up already, so i'm not too sure

for Bingley, imo like u said he's too minor to come up alone, but there's a chance of him coming up with Jane tho

if it's actually on Love and Relationship, there's a quite some things to write on Jane and Bingley, since they're pretty much the very ideal couple

and imo Love and Relationship rlly would be the jackpot question, since basically everyone in the book, from Collins to Lady Catherine to Lizzie, would be suitable to write about

Jekyll and Hyde probably might be the scene where Dr Jekyll was at the Window looking like a 'disconsolate prisoner', not quite sure though, and for the power and conflict in my opinion it is likely to be about either the 'Prelude' or 'Checking out me History' (maybe 'Exposure'), For Macbeth perhaps the character of Banquo (his response to the witches and how that contradicts with Macbeth attitude to the supernatural) and for AIC, it is responsibility or social class and for the character question revise two characters Mr Birling might make an appearance this year and Gerald or Sheila. And bro please revise effectively cuz I am not certain about this it is just a prediction, I am also in year 11 so year, good luck!

does anyone have any prediction for Prejudice and Prejudice this year😭
i've searched everywhere and literally no one covers it, and resources aren't the most helpful😭
what do we think is gonna show up this year?

I thought maybe first impressions?? you could speak about Darcy and how 1st impressions affected his relationship w Lizzy. But im not too sure if that would be too similar to the 2018 and 2022 question. Also i heard something about scandal// reputation? you could talk about Lydia and Wickham, Lady Catherine, Bennet

i'm cooked if it's scandal lol
there's just not enough things to write about apart from Lydia and Wickham's elopement
and for first impression it's only Lizzie and Darcy
i'm praying it's not these two😭😭

I do some quite uncommon books : Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare) , Frankenstein (19th century) and A Taste of Honey (Modern Prose / Drama) - so as you expect there are limited resources online INCLUDING PREDICTIONS - so do you have any predictions if you do any of these books

there’s so many angles they could go though like each extract could be focused on COMPLETEKY different essays so u either get rlly lucky or kinda stuck

For Frankenstein, they like to do questions about the monster quite a lot so I think this year it will be about the monster being a sympathetic character. But some people say there could be a question on the role of women in the play.

Those would both be good as obviously you could talk about how Justine is treated how Elizabeth is portrayed

i don’t think so as a question themselves because i feel like there’s not enough to write about, maybe instead how different relationships or marriages are presented and they would have to be mentioned as a point?i hope they wouldn’t come up anyway

Hey everyone xx

I'm Gia and I'm sitting my GCSEs this year. I'm doing Much Ado About Nothing for my Shakespeare play and I've been struggling to understand it as well as my other texts. I'm a bit worried that I haven't understood it properly yet, since exams are so close. I'm aiming for a Grade 9 in English Lit cause I'm considering it for A-Level. However, I'm worried MAAN is going to bring down my grade.

Is anyone else doing MAAN? If so, do you have any advice which might help me? Tysm in advance!!

for jekyll and hyde, maybe another character, e.g. utterson or lanyon. Maybe duality? but you shouldn't trust predictions religiously because who knows what aqa have up there sleeve, they do repeat questions sometimes, and who knows, they might decide to kill us all by giving us tissue (fingers crossed it isn't)

Reply 36

Thank you so much. Yah Istg if its tissue I will actually run out of the exam hall
