I didn't write a question number, I didn't see it anywhere?! will this effect my result?

don't panic too much because there's only one question for each text and the examiners aren't stupid, so don't lose sleep over it as they'll figure it out

your tutor was 100% wrong. Basically, there's section a which is full of Shakespeare and section b which is full of different 19th century novels. You only pick ONE question from both sections, so two in total, one Shakespeare question to answer and one 19th century novel question to answer. You do not write an answer to all 13 texts in the booklet, you only answer 2 in detail, one on Shakespeare, one on 19th century novel. E.g. if your school studied Macbeth and A Christmas Carol, you ignore all other questions and only answer them two, so idk why your tutor has told you to answer all of them and made you study all texts

Omg are you sure? My tutor literally sat the lit papers last year and got a 7, so I don't know how I could've got such a wrong message!! Just checking, what do you have to do for paper 2? Just in case she hasn't told me correctly for this one too...

I was told you answer like 5 of the modern prose things and one of the poetry ones as the last unseen one is optional as you’ve already done a poetry type question.

Oh really? I was told that you just choose one text and answer both questions, and then choose between which of the poems you want (power, love or unseen). Thank you so much for telling me, I don't need another disaster like today!!

nope, there are 3 sections on paper 2. section a is your modern drama texts and prose, for example, An Inspector Calls or Lord of the Flies or whatever you have studied. You pick the text that you have studied (or know the best if you somehow studied all of them). You have a choice of two questions but you ONLY ANSWER ONE- DO NOT ANSWER BOTH. for example, I study An Inspector Calls, so i will IGNORE ALL THE other texts i havent studied. I will have a choice of two questions, I will ONLY PICK ONE. it doesn't matter which you pick, you pick the one you prefer. note, unlike paper 1 today, you will NOT have an extract, everything you write is off your memory.
Next, poetry anthology. There are three anthologies for aqa, love and relationships, power and conflict, and world and lives. YOU ONLY PICK THE one you have studied, so for me, thats power and conflict, so I will ignore love and relationships and world and lives. A poem will be printed on the page for me, and I will compare this poem to another poem in the same anthology from memory, since this poem I am comparing it to is not printing, only from memory. So e.g. if the poem is Exposure, the poem will be printed on the paper in front of me, and I will compare it to another poem of my choice from the 15 poems of the anthology from memory.
For unseen poetry, you will have 2 unseen poems. You will need to answer the only question asked, which will be a 24 marker asking you to describe the FIRST unseen poem. After, you will have an 8 marker asking you to compare the first unseen poem with the second unseen poem. The unseen poetry section is COMPULSORY, YOU CANNOT SKIP THIS SECTION, BECAUSE UNSEEN POETRY IS WORTH ABOUT 20% OF ENTIRE GCSE ENGLISH LIT. if you skip unseen poetry section and the 2 questions in it, you will lose 20% of the marks of entire gcse qualification. Hence, it is not optional.
