Jekyll and Hyde probably might be the scene where Dr Jekyll was at the Window looking like a 'disconsolate prisoner', not quite sure though, and for the power and conflict in my opinion it is likely to be about either the 'Prelude' or 'Checking out me History' (maybe 'Exposure'), For Macbeth perhaps the character of Banquo (his response to the witches and how that contradicts with Macbeth attitude to the supernatural) and for AIC, it is responsibility or social class and for the character question revise two characters Mr Birling might make an appearance this year and Gerald or Sheila. And bro please revise effectively cuz I am not certain about this it is just a prediction, I am also in year 11 so year, good luck!

Attitudes from Banquo toward the supernatural has already been asked in 2018's paper. They won't repeat this question.
There is a likelihood in:

how is power presented in Macbeth's character

Macbeth's and Macduff's attitudes to leadership / Heroism

How is Kingship presented

How is Supernatural presented

Hey everyone xx
I'm Gia and I'm sitting my GCSEs this year. I'm doing Much Ado About Nothing for my Shakespeare play and I've been struggling to understand it as well as my other texts. I'm a bit worried that I haven't understood it properly yet, since exams are so close. I'm aiming for a Grade 9 in English Lit cause I'm considering it for A-Level. However, I'm worried MAAN is going to bring down my grade.
Is anyone else doing MAAN? If so, do you have any advice which might help me? Tysm in advance!!

Hi I am also doing MAAN, compared to other books there is not a lot of resources online however on YouTube if you search first rate tutors they have videos on quotes and some brief analysis for different characters. My final piece of advice is doing exam practice on different themes and characters.

how would you memorise an entire essay in like 2 days, and also, if they use an ai checker, they could disqualify you. You can use ChatGPT's ideas, but try and be unique with your own ideas and interpretations

does anyone have any predictions for much ado about nothing or great expectations??

Reply 116

For some reason a lot of people in my school have been saying about Mr Wickham? But honestly it better not be because that would be horrible, and I wouldn't trust it since it is just a bunch of 16 years olds guessing :/
I've found it really hard to study for since literally no one studies it so their are hardly any resources online, but we're still here hoping anyways
Also who's your favourite character in the novel and what other texts are you studying for english lit along side it?

Any predictions for pride and prejudice? Last year they got a good question so I’m nervous I’ll get something stupidly difficult
