AQA GCSE Mathematics Paper 2 Higher - Wednesday, June 4, 2025 [Exam Chat]

Slightly worried that the grade boundaries are going be higher than usual this year. This years paper 1 was easier than 2024 paper 1 and 2024 has grade boundaries of 221/240 so it might bo up by a few marks as many people found it quite easy

I do not agree with you to a large extent as many students across the UK found maths AQA paper 1 quite hard especially in my school coming from grade 8 / 9 students !

Guys I’m so demotivated to revise but do you think if I use first class maths predicted papers and walkthroughs and watching topic videos will I be good for paper 2 and are there any other resources and stuff I could use for paper 2 please answer if you can because idk which are the best ways to revise for maths cuz it’s either u get it or u dont

trust half term has been literally the worst, I printed the first class ultimate gcse topics checklist, ticked off what came up in paper 1 (most probably wont come up again) and ticked off the topics I know fro sure and then made a list of the ones I need to work on (watch the videos and do topic questions) and im gonna prioritise the predicted topics. whats everyone else's plans?

Do you need to know the kinematics formulae (SUVAT equations)??
