It was find the trapezium area, you had to first work out the perpendicualr height using pythagoras, then do 1/2 (a+b) x perp height

i swear people who are saying its easy are lying to themselves like some of the questions were really hard. For example, the one with u+1 and whatever which nobody I've asked has got that or even knows where to start with it. Moreover, if the test was so "easy" than why are the grade boundaries always ridiculously low like 50% for an 7.
After talking to people and teachers it looks like grade boundaries could be higher, to me this was much easier than any past paper I’ve done. By the way the u question was iterations, if you haven’t done it in class then it looks really hard but after you know how to do it it’s actually really straightforward.

Hoping to get a 9 🤞Always been stuck on 8 but pretty sure I got between 85-90 marks. Just need to do this in other 2 aswell.

Do you think grade boundaries will be higher?

I think they'll be like 85 tbh but won't be higher than that I'm pretty sure. I expect p5 and p6 will be much harder though

Oh fine yeah it was x^2 + y^2 = 16.18 and the square root of 16.18 = 4.002 so you're right I think

Would I get the marks if I did the same substituted in and got 16.18 and said said this is greater than x²+y²=16 so is outside?
