Does anyone know of or have any predictions for the AQA RS Paper 1 (Christianity & Islam) for 2025 exams?
Any analysis of past papers - what has and is yet to come up?
Would be interesting to know and thus what areas to target for revision...

For Christian beliefs incarnation hasnt come up in a while so it could as a 5 or 12. The 12 marker could be about God's nature and suffering. For practices prolly smtn about pilgrimage may come up. For islamic beliefs predestination has never come up before. Holy books/prophets and angels likely to come up. For practices the 10 obligatory acts could come up or maybe one of the 5 pillars

My teacher said baptism and the Lord's Prayer/Nicene Creed for Christian beliefs and Practices, maybe Jihad for Islamic practices

Hi got a 9 in GCSE AQA Religious Studies (marks 184/204). I would reccommend to anyone who wants a secured grade 9, 4 things:
1) Use BEN WARDLE youtube channel
2) Use the AQA SPECIFICATION and ensure you know atleast 2 beliefs & a quote for each topic listed
3) Try atleast 1 past paper & LOOK/MEMORISE MARK SCHEMES for past papers (usually the same questiuons come up like what happened in my exams)
4) GET these highly detailed notes: https://www.stuvia.com/en-gb/user/GCSEMastery (Scroll down a bit, they have RS, Geo & Combined science). They have notes with quotes, beliefs, it contains absolutely everything you need for a 9
Hope this helps anyone struggling 🙂

The resurrection of Jesus is the most important belief in Christianity

The celebration of holy communion / Eucharist is the most important part of Christian worship

For Muslims the best way of describing god is to say he is merciful

For Muslims sawm is the most important religious activity during Ramadan

id say just get a good nights rest and dont focus on cramming bc nothing will enter your brain. i would advise js skimming over your notes right before bed and as soon as you wake up for retention. just take it easy because you alr know all the content so dont stress

kind of a weird question but if i (hypothetically) used zero quotes in my 12 marker but explained everything else in detail- how many marks could I get (minimum), thanks!

Hi, I did this exam last year (I got a 6) and I wish you all the best of luck. Print off a quote bank tomorrow morning and skim-read is my last-minute advice.

how did everyone find it? easy paper imo except the 12 mark Q about the local community

The rusl al din question cooked me ibr.😭😭😭. Christianity both questions were actually blessed. So was the islamic practices but the beliefs cooked me slightly. Would saying Muslims might take a literalist approach and say "root" intrept it as being essential. And it's god given so we must trust the deity to guide us.??

Bro Christianity was so good, Judaism not too bad, even though I started revising it today. Honestly there is way too much time imo. (AQA)
