When can I start DofE

I would like to start a Duke of Edinburgh Silver award, but I don't know when to start. Can I start any time of the year, or is it from September.

I've done Bronze but I think you have to start from the start of like the school year, so you have enough time to do Volunteering, Physical, and skill. My friend is doing silver, I'll tag my her, she might take a bit to get back to you, but I'll ask her @lal.w08

She says it depends on whether you are doing it with your school or by yourself (googling it and then filling in the tasks) if you do it by yourself its much more difficult as you don't have the support but you can do it anytime of year.
