Can I still change my GCSE Science Tier - Year 11.

Hello, urgent help needed.
My science teacher has put me down for the GCSE AQA triple science foundation tier. I want to achieve top grades and do higher.
Over the Easter break I’ve really switched stuff up and I’ve been really dedicated to my studies and I’ve been doing loads of higher past papers and getting top grades too.
However, before the Easter break I was really bad at science at school. My teacher still thinks that I’m bad at science.
Tomorrow, I want to bring all the work I’ve done and show it to her. I’m going to ask her to switch me to higher. I’m really really scared that she’s going to say no.
In that case, what shall I do? I’ve got my heart set on getting those 8s and 9s.
I’m extremely stressed. Please, any guidance would be appreciated.

Hey congradulations on working so hard! I'm so sorry to say that the deadline for changing tier is 21st April. Your teachers should have seen your talent earlier. It is possible to change but after researching it might come with additional fees

I really don’t want to sit the foundation paper. It does not highlight my abilities anymore. I’ve worked so hard.
Could you share how much the extra fees is?
My school said in a letter today that if there is anything wrong with your exam timetable then let us know by Monday. I was hoping that meant that they could still change it.

Do you know your exam board? I've looked at its 150% the orignal price of the exam (the school paid for)

Hey it looks like its £43 per paper which makes it £86 per science. Sorry for the bad news

Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it.
So it will be around £260 that I have to pay my school?
I really do hope that my teacher lets me change, I’m going to have a conversation with her tomorrow.
I have been studying over Easter. I do get stressed and overwhelmed quite a lot so I need all your best wishes!

Thank you. Sorry for asking so many questions but the price I pay to the school, will that be the “additional fees” as I don’t pay the full amount the school has payed for me to sit my exam, right?
It will be around £260, no more? Thanks!!!

Don't apologise I'd do the same (its an INFJ thing) £260 is the max it will probably be lower. The AQA website isn't that clear so I tried to find the best for you

Literally can’t thank you enough. My stress levels have significantly lowered.
I really do hope that I get a chance to do higher, really scared though.

Don't mention it I'm happy to help. Remember to keep calm and even if she rejects it you've done the best you can. Anything I can do just ask
