Cardiff Accomodation
Does anyone know if I'm too late to apply for accommodation? Am I likely to get any of my choices.

You're not late at all! The deadline for online accom applications as per their website is the 25th of July. This is for undergraduate applicants who have selected Cardiff Uni as their firm choice.
It's always good to send in your application sooner than later though, in order to have the best availability of accomodation.

does anyone know how accommodation assigning works for students who deferred and therefore already have a firm place at Cardiff? I would’ve thought they would be the first to know, or have first choice of accommodation

Oh okay thanks! Out of interest, if I leave it about another week...would I still be likely to get an ensuite? Or is it super urgent?

Honestly I'm not too sure, sorry. I can't see anything on the website that says first-come-first-serve for normal cycle applicants.
As I mentioned though, getting your application in as soon as possible will only benefit you in ensuring it's one thing off your plate, and the university knows then what exactly to accommodate you with, pending availability of rooms.

Yeah I think as long as you get your choices in by the 25th of July you should be ok, my understanding is that it is random allocation (unless you are a medical student, then you will be given priority to be close to the heath campus).
What are you guys planning on studying?
