What university should I choose for Product Design from my offers.

I've received all my offers and have narrowed it down to MMU or Northumbria University Newcastle (there is a small chance it is Falmouth Uni) for a BA in Product Design (Sustainable Product Design @ Falmouth). I've visited all the open days (excluding Falmouth). I'm not sure which university to choose, so any thoughts on the university or the course would be useful. I live in Greater Manchester, so would most likely be commuting or possibly live in accom 1st year? (I got offers for Edinburgh at ABB, but I don't think that's achievable due to Biology, and Sheffield Hallam was unconditional, but I don't think the course was right for me).

Compare the modules and optional modules for all years of the course. Does one course stand out over the other? Do any of the courses offer a placement year or study abroad as this can add a lot to your graduate CV.

Do you want to be immersed in uni life or do you want to continue living at home? It might be possible to commute to MMU, but not to Newcastle.

Ive got an offer to study at few different universities for product as well and in the same positition as you when it comes to deciding. When it comes to Edinburgh, comuniting from Manchester may be a struggle. A mate of mind went to Newcastle and just finished and really enjoyed it.

Yeah, I think I would be living at home if I choose mmu as my firm, but in all the other places, I would definitely move into accommodation. I could stay in accommodation 1st year but it's quite expensive and my parents said I would be able to meet friends and have the uni experience if i lived at home. Newcastle seemed to be one of the best (out of my offers, especially with all the placement stuff, and the facilities were quite good. I visited Edinburgh on an open day, but I wasn't a huge fan of the accommodation, but the course seemed good. It's just expensive, especially since the course is 4 years. Mmu was very good in terms of facilities and with the focus on sustainability, and my potential classmates seemed nice.
Since I haven't been to falmouth, I'm a bit worried that I'll regret my final choice, and if I went to falmouth, I would have completed a better course. But from creating a pro con list, it's expensive to live there and seems like it might be a bit dead and not many placement opportunities :/

Idk it's so difficult to choose if I want to move away from home and learn to be independent and all that or stay at home closer to my family and live more comfortably without the stress of paying the rent and all the other parts. Maybe I'll end using a wheel and let that decide which uni I'll go to!

Falmouth seems to risky if you never been their and I agree student life is important. Which I think Newcastle may be the best option.

Yeah, I have a friend who's visited the exeter campus, so if it's similar to that, then I would hope falmouth is similar. But yeah, i think it might be too risky to go there. I'll probably have another look at the course and see if I can chat to students or someone to see what the uni is like
