Pink Kangaroo 2025

Hey all. I haven't found any posts on this, so I want to start off by asking how did you all do in the Pink Kangaroo, knowing you got your results back (if you did; I got mine).
Honestly, when I sat it, I had an absolute mind blank, and did worse than I thought I would do. But, the good thing about this that it sets it apart from the UK Maths Trust (UKMT), is that it doesn't mark you down if you answer incorrectly. So, while trudging through the questions with my last remaining brain cells, I just guessed everything from Q15 onwards (I know it is bad to get to this stage, and do absolutely horrendous).
I got it back today, and I got a Silver. So, it's either that I must have done well and I was just doubting myself, or (the most probable one) I somehow guessed correctly so many times that it brought me up from Participation to Silver. To know how shocked I was to get a good result, I literally told my friends after the 1 hour that I should be lucky to get a Participation Award, so yh, what's your stories on it?

Well done, silver aint bad. Just had a quick scan at the paper, and it looks reasonably challenging. Without going through them all, q24 could be a bit misleading with their sketch as theyre joining all the trisection points to the opposite vertex. If youd joined KI, its fairly easy to argue that the area of QLJ is 1/4*1/3 the area of the whole triangle (as the base is 1/3 and the height is 1/4) so 5.
