uni choices help

Hello,

In my first a-level sitting I achieved an A in Bio, B in Eng Lit, C in chemistry. Now I am retaking Chemistry only hoping to get an A minimum. I will sit the UCAT in late September 2025. I meet the WP and contextual req of nearly all universities.

What medicine courses can I apply to? (I know UCAT is a major part of it, but I want to see which course I match well with)

One course I match great with is BM6 Medicine at Uni of Southampton.

Let me know any courses i would match with- they can be extended medicine degrees or gateways/foundation medicine or normal medicine 5 year courses

Hey, I really think it’s definitely worth applying to University of Southampton, especially the BM6 Medicine course. It matches your background really well, especially with the widening participation criteria.

Don’t worry too much there are other great foundation or gateway medicine courses you might be eligible for too, And remember, clearing is always an option if things don’t go to plan. So don’t stress just focus on your Chemistry resit and UCAT, and wish you all the best!

Kind regards
