The Student Room Group

previous study and finance

Hi,
I am a mature student currently studying Bsc Biomedical science but thinking about change course to a Bsc in Occupational Therapy course code B920 in Canterbury Christchurch University.
I have 3 years of previous study that I took out a sfe loan for.
Currently I am having to pay my tuition fees and not entitled to maintenance loan.
If I take the leap and change course would I be entitled to any tuition fee loan or maintenance loan?
Thank you.

Hi there,

Yes, this is fine - Occupational Therapy is an exception. So, this means you'll be entitled to funding regardless of your previous study.

Thanks, Graeme
