Is the UCL BA Media course competitive?

heyy i was wondering if you got your results from UCL yet, i just got mine! was rejected as expected but the reason they provided was that "my application wasn't strong enough". i'm surprised they even looked at my application at all since i did it all wrong lol

heyy i did loll they gave the same reason. i’ll be really honest, i have a friend in the course and she said that my portfolio is really strong. i did an associates degree equivalent
in the same course. i definitely think mine was they didn’t have anymore vacancies because i got accepted into multiple great unis so i am pretty angry with their reasoning. anyways i am glad i did get the rejection because the uni i am accepting is equally as good as UCL and im paying a lot lesser as a home student there! i wish you the best of luck in all your endeavours where do you plan to go?

aw that's such a shame ( i'm really intrigued by ur portfolioo, did you focus on the film or games aspect more? my portfolio pieces didn't have any games/interdisciplinary aspects to it (just film, moving image, audio, and writing) so i think it definitely took me down a peg.
