What school should I pick to study media?

offers:
uni of Westminster - creative media arts
ual - media and comms
kcl - culture, media, creative industries
goldsmiths - media and comms

I’m debating between Westminster and ual- but I’m probably leaning more towards Westminster still not too sure 😭

Do you have any thoughts about what you might want to do post-degree?

Is there a reason that you applied for media and not film degrees?

i wanted to study film! but my parents were sort of opposed to it and wanted me to pursue something that could have broader career opportunities. the idea was that i gained wider knowledge of media in general in my BA before pursuing something focused an MA or just go straight into working

University of Westminster's Creative Media Arts focuses on practical, hands-on media production with strong industry links, making you more competitive in employment. UAL's Media and Comms is more theoretical and suits those who want a broader arts network. If you are still not sure, try to combine other factors, such as London student accommodation offered by these two universities, to help you make a decision.

If just firmed CMCI, and you said in this thread you were looking at film, one thing i noticed about CMCI is the ability to cater the course into what you want do so there might be that creative outlet which helps
