MSc Speech and Language Therapy at BCU

Hi, I am currently applying for SLT at BCU starting in January. On the information for this course it says that it is 2.5-5 days per week of attendance. I was just wondering if there is any current students here that have some insight into what the timetabling is like? I understand that it probably changes from year to year but some universities offering this course are 5 days per week 9-5 and others are 3 days per week.

Thanks so much!

Hi there,

I’m not on the SLT course myself, but I study at BCU and know that timetables can really vary depending on the course and year group. You’re right that it changes from year to year, but from what I’ve heard from other students, the SLT course doesn’t tend to be 9–5 every day. It’s usually spread over fewer days, with a mix of in-person teaching, placement, and independent study time.

Good luck with your application!
