EPQ A but..

HI I just got a 44/50 in marking my EPQ - one mark off A*. I need an A* for Law and I was wondering if it's worth going into an appeal process that will most likely not help me at my college. I feel that the teacher didn't give us any guidance from the start and I did a lot of work on my own - she missed sections and she was hardly there physically. I don't know if there will be moderation from AQA, because we are only 13 in out class. We are a new 6th form with lots of teething problems. Communication is non existent, so i don't want to enter into a long term battle while tiding for my Alevels. Do you think 44/50 - A makes a difference in good unis as opposed to A*. ?

Which unis are you looking to apply to? Most unis with higher entry requirements don't care about epq grades, and the ones that do only tend to care about it if you don't meet the normal entry requirements.

No Uni requires an A* EPQ for any degree subject.

Move on. Focus on your A level grades - they actually do matter.
