Are these GCSES good for doing Medicine at Oxford University?

I got these GCSES: 99999876 and D2

So I got the grade nines in media studies, combined science (9-9), maths, history and the 8 was in english literature, 7 in english language and the 6 was in spanish. I’m not sure if it is revelant, but the D2 was in BTEC health and social care. I am resitting Year 12 due to personal reasons and will do biology, chemistry and psychology alevel, is this a good choice and are my GCSE grades suitable for Medicine at Oxford? What do you think I should focus on?
I would focus on other medical schools. It doesn't matter what medical school you graduate from in terms of becoming a doctor, and Oxford put a huge emphasis on GCSEs and you are statistically below average (I believe on average successful applicants to Oxford medicine have around 11 A*/8-9 grades at GCSE with a very high proportion of grades at A*/8-9). Add into that the fact you are resitting year 12 (or changing subjects, unclear) I am not sure you can put forward a competitive application for them.

There are plenty of other medical schools to consider including ones where your GCSEs would be to your strength.

Don't let the post above me make you for a second think your gcses aren't exceptional although you should've done triple science then you would've been sitting at 9 8/9s (counting the distinction ) which is the typical grades for Oxford medicine. Also gcses are taken in context to ur school so the post above me is even more bogus
