Kaplan living at Uni of Liverpool

i'm planning to study psychology at the university of liverpool and i took a look at the kaplan living accomodation and i really liked it: modern, quite spacious, very close to campus, good facilities, cheapest option. however, it isn't university owned and is part of the international college which works in partnership with the university. i'm just worried ill be isolated from the university students and not sure if it is a good idea to go for this type of accomodation instead of a university owned one.

Heya! I'm not sure if my input will help much, but hopefully it will! I'm not a student at the Liverpool campus but I am a student in Kaplan accommodation, just at the University of Brighton campus. From my experience, you won't have any issues with being isolated from other University students! There's a good mix of Kaplan Pathways students and students from the main campus that just wanted better flats.

I took a look at the Kaplan Liverpool accommodation and it's pretty similar to the Brighton location from the look of it, including having a lot of opportunities for socialising and connecting with your peers. I know since it's not owned by the uni you might think that would impact your social life but if you have a similar experience to mine, you'll be great!

If you really are uncertain about it, choose one of the shorter contracts! If you hate it, then move out after. But, if you like it, then you can extend your contract as long as there's space!

Hope I could help you out!
