Does paying student loan overpayment reflect on the maintenance loan online?

I am paying an overpayment of about £1,500 in my final year at uni. I’ve had my maintenance loan come through and it is only £3,000, I thought the minimum was almost £5,000. Does this include the overpayment deduction or not??

Hi Molly,

If you have an overpayment from a previous year then this will be clawed back from your current year. The entitlement letter will show this with a minus figure beside the overpayment that's been deducted from the current year. Thanks, Jason
