McDonald’s probation

Right now im still on probation for 3 months and I have booked a holiday on September I’m worried they not going to approve it or maybe end my probation bc they don’t like what I have done

Talk to your immediate manager about it asap as you need there authorisation to get time off.

Perhaps you should have said that you had a planned booked holiday in September at the interview. You can request your holiday time off in writing to your manager and you might have to take unpaid leave as you won't have enough holidays accrued.

Your probation period is basically to see how good you are at the job you are employed to do, how well you take instruction from other staff, how your time keeping is, your attendance record ( sickness days etc - holidays don't usually count if authorised) then the manager will discuss it with your supervisor and decide whether to keep you on after your probation period is up or let you go but they will have a meeting with you to discuss it okay.


Sorry I don't work with McDonalds as I work in a big name supermarket.
