Y12s - what do you wish you'd done in your y11 summer in prep for A-levels?

Hi, I'm y11 but planning ahead for the summer and was wondering what people would recommend doing in prep for A-levels? For reference I'm taking maths, fm, geo and econ
I've not studied econ at gcse so was wondering if it's worth me learning the gcse course? Thank you!

For maths and fm? Nothing really, just make sure you don't get rusty at algebra.

The only case you should probably do a bit of preparation is if it's a new subject, but you don't need to learn the whole of econ gcse, just do some reading or something to get you comfortable with the subject in general.

I’m yr13, I don’t do econ but i do geography and bascially enjoy your summer is my advice and then do work when you’re in year 12. There’s not a lot you can do to help yourself until you’ve been taught stuff and there’s no real need for prep work

For Maths just make sure you’re solid on gcse knowledge and it’ll really help. But mostly just relax

Hiya, I wished I kinda went over any extra curricular activities such as stem programmes etc so I can apply for them as they get very busy easily x I also wish I read over the spec of my chosen a levels so I know what to expect!

Relaxed productively (i.e. don't get bored) because A-levels are hard and you don't want to get burnt out so soon into them.
Your 6th Form is likely to set transition work anyway.
