Help please

So I moved to this new school and I have no friends in my year. I do talk to a few ppl in my year but we can actually not label it AS FRIENDS I’m in s4 y’all/year 11 I do have friends but they are like a year below and 2 years below and it doesn’t mean right to be seen with them yk and I applied for my highers in another school but I’m scared to go to that school now 😔 I spoke to a girl from the school I’m going she was nice and all but she’s NOT in my year and just said my new classmates are the same as My schools rq Bru idk if I shld take the risk Bru I wouldn’t mind if I was in England cause my friends live there I would go out with them but I’m in Scotland bruuu and I actually have no one to hang out with and actually Call MY FRIEND!!!

Having friends in your year group is not the be all and end all, most of my friends in school were either in the year above me or one or two years below me. It shouldn't matter what other people think, as long as you are happy with your friends and the way you are treated by them. Have you spoken to people in your classes? It isn't as important now as exams are coming up so things will massively change by August/September, so there will be more opportunities.

Hey so people in my year are fake and they don’t like each other at all and ye I’ve tried but they all in their friend groups and some ppl are just there to use you and wanting to gossip

I would say don't worry about having friends in your year for the time being and make the most of the friends you do have
