should i go? party in another city... only know a few ppl
old university friend/ acquaintance invited me plus like a load of other ppl to a party. I kinda want to go and know like 5 of the big group well, but don't have a plus 1 and haven't talked to any of them in ages. it's not that hard to get to but costs a bit. worth going? have been kinda a hermit lately and feel like making some connections, but don't want to seem like a loser

An invitation should be viewed positively. If you fancy it I would go out of your comfort zone and give it a try

I think it would be worth going to, at worst you don't reconnect well to which you could leave earlier, but I'm sure it will be alright! do whatever you feel comfortable with, but sometimes a little step out of the comfort zone does wonders
