UCAS 2026 personal statement

Hey! I am beginning to write my personal statement for UCAS, I am applying as an undergrad for 2026 entry, but I have a question. How will it appear to universities? As 3 separate questions with answers, or as a combined chunk of text? I want to make sure that, if it is the latter, the paragraphs work together!

Ucas haven’t completely clarified that to us yet.
Assuming it’s the same as when they split the reference then it will be combined into a single statement

Hi @maje450 ,

This is a great question!

From what I can see, UCAS is yet to answer this, however I would not be overly concerned as I'm sure without its clarification many people will take the varied approaches. If this remains unclarified, you may wish to include a short sentence at the end of each linking them. However, as said, do not be too concerned and instead focus on writing your best for each section as the new system is meant to allow applicants to really focus on what universities wish to know.

If you want more information on the 2026 changes, I recommend reading this UCAS article.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
