KCL Vs UoManchester

I have an offer for Accounting & Finance and Finance respectively. The offer I have from Manchester is lower (666 so AAA) compared to KCL (766 so A*AA) but the difference is not that big. Up until some days ago I was under the impression that for anything business/finance related Manchester would be better. Upon doing some research I’m seeing far more people saying KCL would be a better choice, while international rankings like Qs rank Manchester way higher. which one should I go with. I know that the whole vibe will be better Manchester which does make it a more favourable choice. I’m international who has only visited Manchester so I feel I might be a bit biased here.

I have applied to both and still waiting for kings. personally I prefer kcl because it being London is good for networking and postgraduate prospects being in the finance sector. As well as visiting London multiple times liking it very much for student life. Although King's is lower in ranking by Qs im not sure if Manchester is better although it is still very good, since youve visited and liked it you shouldn't worry about it. I haven't visited Manchester but I've heard its similar to london so im guessing you'd like it as well. I'm also worried about the people difference from manchester and kings but dont know much about that. I might also be biased but idk. If you dont mind sharing what predictions you applied with I'd appreciate it. getting very nervous now.

I wouldn’t say it’s a lot like London. I’ve heard from people living there that London is huge and gets very hectic. The campuses of KCL are spread out, as well as the accommodations which is throwing me off. I have also been told that in London people are lot more pretentious compared to up north. In general, I think I’ll have a much better time at Manchester but I’m worried that kings is much better in terms of prestige.
Predicted: 40, 766HL

I agree with you on the people and the accommodations are a bit weird. Manchester is more straight forward and I’ve heard only good things too, perhaps objectively and since you already like it it’s a better option. I guess the city can still get hectic too. If you don’t mind sharing your subjects because I applied with a 43 and 776 Business econ math ai and I’m still waiting.
