Kings College London Student life??

Hi, I currently hold an offer from KCL to study Biomedical Science at the Guy’s campus. I was wondering what student life is like at Kings as I am not very big in clubbing, drinking or going to bars.
I also have an offer from uni of Sheffield which I know has a very broad range of activities and events, and since it is near the Peak District there is more stuff to do nature-wise.

I’m debating between commuting for all 3 years (I live 1h15min away by tube) and living one year in accom near Guy’s campus, however I have only found 2 accomodations nearby and I’m worried I won’t get offered the accoms.
Would I still be able to get a full uni experience by going to kings and commuting? What other activités are there nearby? I’m worried that if I make friends at Kings they’ll all just want to go clubbing and drinking and I’ll just go back to my accom alone every night.

Does anyone have any advice?

I know people at King’s that live 40 minutes away from campus. He didn’t even attend freshers, he said he didn’t miss anything and he found his circle the same way you will.

i plan on firming kcl for med and am in a similar situation to you - commuting and have no intention of clubbing or drinking or anything.
i’m hoping that if there’s two of us there’ll also be others like us. hopefully we can both make good friends at uni 🤞

kings has a ton of societies you can join that don't have anything to do with drinking, clubbing, etc. I'd check out the kclsu societies page to see what other activities are available :
https://www.kclsu.org/groups/activities/join/
I wouldn't worry about not finding people who have the same interests as you, as I'm sure there'll be others who also don't like going out.
