i would say graduates are equally as successful! both are well established, i’m on the foundation acting at conti so slightly biased but it’s a great school. artsed did have a scandal in 2023/24, but most drama schools have at some point. did u have a gut feeling when u visited either??

Hey, can you say more about the scandal? I don’t know about it

Oh wow I didn’t know any of this. Thanks for the information. And can I ask if you are doing the BA at Italia conti and are you living in Guildford? Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated!!!

Please can I ask what the living expenses are for Italia conti? Are you living at Gilden village?

My daughter currently lives in Guilden Village. The rent is £3000 more than her maintenance loan, so I have to top her rent up and then give her £600 a month to live on. I'm relieved she is going into a rented house share in September, as she's going from £225 per week to £160 per week (including bills)

Hi, thanks for this info. Very helpful! Did she enjoy being at Guilden village (even though it was very expensive for yiu!) I guess she’s at italia conti? How is she finding it?

She loves it. Currently on Cert HE and didn't get BA so is sad to move on.

A big question to ask is can you afford the top up fees at Arts Ed?

I understand that student finance only loans about £6k to the tuition fees each year, leaving a shortfall of approx £11,000 per year. And of course rent in London is very expensive and not covered by the maintenance loan. So it is A LOT!!!!
