Do I have a chance of getting into Kings for history and IR???

Hi , I have applied to kings for two courses and still not heard back from the second course after being rejected from the first course.
I have really low predicted grades (ABC , C in history) and i am applying FOR history and history and international relations. Ive already been rejected from the first course and no evaluation of my mitigating circumstances were made, which were an abusive relationship in year 12 , death of a parent (although it was in year 7) and undiagnosed ASD until recently. Despite this I was rejected on the basis of my predicted grades without any formal response to my mitigating circumstances claim. Can I appeal this rejection on the basis of procedural error and do I even have a chance at the other course. My PS was much more IR history focused to give context.

mitigating circumstances claim.
It doesn't guarantee you an offer - it just means that IF you were made an offer that they may be more lenient on Results Day.

Can I appeal this rejection on the basis of procedural error
No, because it isn't a procedural error. See above.

Having a C prediction for History is the most likely reason for your rejection.
If you have not done so already, ask for feedback on their decision.

Ok, on the Kings website It says that they can wave predicted grade consideration depending on the outcome of a mitigating circumstances claim , "We will only be able to consider mitigating circumstances relating to predicted grades or GCSE (or equivalent) performance with a supporting statement from your school, teacher or UCAS advisor." , which I submitted but did not hear an outcome from , please let me know if I confused the meaning of this but my school adviser seemed to have the same interpretation of the waving of predicteds and it is stated on other parts of the kings website and the mitigating circumstances form , I submitted it separately from UCAS.
Also , sorry I did not fully elaborate on what I meant by procedural errors , first I was told on the mitigating circumstances form that they would respond in 2 weeks , then It became 10 working days and then around 17 days after my apply inquiry (way after the 10 day and 2 week deadline) they said they were still considering if they would accept mitigating circumstances, but I never received a formal outcome only a rejection, if this gives any clarity on why I feel there were some errors. I understand that mitigating circumstances does not guarantee acceptance but Kings states that they consider it , but never gave me a response! I am unsure if I even have a chance for the other course :frown:

It doesn't guarantee that anyone with any grades who submits a 'claim' will get an offer.
You can of course contact the Uni, but remember that you have no 'right' to an offer.

☹️ Im not suggesting that I have any right to an offer whatsoever!! , I just feel that my circumstances were not considered and I was wondering the likelihood of getting an offer for another course considering this outcome. Also, what I am trying to emphasise is that I never received a resolution to my claim or justification for it's rejection which Kings promises to give. I just kind of want to know If i have a chance, I have been waiting so long!
As well as this I know my history grade is low but in my claim I explicitly linked it to my undiagnosed ASD and struggles with end of year exams , Im really not trying to say Im owed an offer , just inquiring my chances and how valid my basis of potential appeal is.

PHONE the Uni on Monday.
It will not disadvantage your other application.

I'm not going to defend KCL because I have no connection to them, and also because I have always found their admissions 'process' to be capricious and arrogant with little regard to treating anyone fairly. You may like to bear their disregard in mind when making your eventual Uni choices. I have heard far too many reports of applicants then being equally disregarded and ignored as undergraduates - suggesting that this exaggerated sense of their own importance is an ingrained institutional culture that extends well beyond Admissions.

Yes I have definitely noticed that there is substantial disorganisation in their admissions team and will keep this in mind , however I have to be in London next year for personal reasons so I do not really have any other option with my predicted grades!!
