Latin OCR prose and verse memorisation

Most of the Latin OCR course is memorising prose and verse, and I just can’t get anything in, does anyone have any last minute suggestions on how to get it in?

I don't know if this is already what you're doing, but only learn the english translation, and just make sure you can pick out a couple of key words from the latin to show you which section you're looking at. So much easier than trying to learn the full Latin text by heart- I didn't learn the Greek part of the lit for my OCR exam last year since it's even harder to memorise and still came out with a 9 so can confirm this works. Beyond that, go one line at a time, don't try to memorise full blocks all at once, and remember that everyone who translates the texts does it slightly differently, so focus on knowing the essence of what it says instead of the word for word if that's a struggle. Best of luck with your exam- I'm also taking OCR Latin this year so i'm right there with you

I'm in the same boat. I am just madly trying to learn style and context notes then spend like 10 mins a day on the translations. Stick the bit you are learning somewhere you will see it. I'm taking OCR Latin this year as well
