Hayloft Point vs SSA KCL Accomodation 25/26

Chose Hayloft over SSA as it has so much social space, larger rooms and bigger kitchens in the flat. Shoreditch is really good for bars, clubs etc and it's a safer area (IMHO).
Both great options though! SSA didn't actually come up but would probably still have chosen Hayloft.
It's only 19 mins (3 mins walk, 13 mins tube, 3 mins walk) to Strand.

Hey guys so I've currently got an ensuite booked at Hayloft Point but I was thinking of switching to SSA if it comes up on the accommodation portal but I'm still not sure if I should keep my current room or not. I'd be going to the strand campus which I know SSA is much closer to but the room is 9 m^2 while Hayloft Point is 11 m^2. But the thing is I'm not sure as a first year how much time I'd be spending in my room in the first place so I don't know if room size should be a huge factor in picking between the two. Also I'm not sure which area is better in terms of safety and social life - HP is in Aldgate and SSA is in Waterloo. If anyone who has stayed at either of these accommodations as a first year could please give me some advice that would be great!
