A levels starting soon but havent starting revision yet - HELP PLEASE

Okay so I take maths edexcel, bio ocr A, chem ocr A a levels so first exam is 4th june
study leave starts in 2 weeks tho
I'm ur average garde 9 at gcses student who has been going downhill from the start of 6th form. and ive applied to med and been accepted at my top 2 unis (london) so i need 3A as a minimum
problem is I'm flopping and havent started revising yet (chem P2 we havent finished content, chem teacher for p1 is RUBBISH and learnt nothing in lessons at all, bio p2 teacher again learnt nothing, maths pure i can bang out but stats and mechanics yh no (ik stats is easy but like its all too similar so its all muddled up and mechanics we have hardly done any y2 content yet so yh thats also nice))
i have no idea what to prioritise
do I prioritise bio p1 cos its harder, or p2 cos I haven't even LEARNT it fully yet. Or chem p1 cos I need a lot of practice on that, or p2 cos ive forgotten all of that as well for y1. or maths pure cos its 200 marks, or stats cos its all jumbled up in my brain, or mechanics cos im so behind?
tbh i feel like both chem and bio p2 can be memorised in a way both p1s cant be?

Hi!

It’s understandable how stressed you are but it’s always better late than never so try not to panick too much!!

Here’s my advice:

- since you said Bio and Chem P2 can be memorised easier than P1 I would recommend memorising as much info as possible on that and then focusing on topics like P1 that require more understanding

I also took the time to do you a little study plan incase! I thought this might help ☺️ (it’s a weekly plan but feel free to adjust it wherever to suit it best to your life) also choose whatever days to do this as idk what you might have on different days!

Weekdays: do 1 or 2 hours on Bio P2 and Chemistry P2, 1 hour on mechanics/stats and then 30 mins of math

On the weekends: do longer blocks (2-3 hours ish) on chemistry and catch up on mechanics and at least 1 mock paper of bio and chem

I would also recommend doing any mock papers for any topics as it prepares you and its easier to find out what your gaps in learning are☺️

Hope this helps!
Let me know if I can do anything else for you

Thank you so much for ur help

So would you say its better to finish P2 revision for both chem and bio then revise P1?
I cant decide which way round I should do it - if I do P1 first, I may feel a bit more ready cos its the papers that will come up first but then its revision is defo going to tak longer so what if it takes too long and i wont have time left for P2. But if I do P2 first, what if that also takes long and then I dont have time to revise for P1 (which I find harder for both chem and maths)

Welcome to A levels mate. GCSEs i was the student who didnt need to revise much but overstressed too much for no reason cos I found it pretty simple (and also covid burnt me out like hell and since then ive found motivating and concentrating so much harder) and then sixth form I found out I dont actually know how to revise and need to put in too much effort which is demotivating and then continued getting demotivated and applying to med means a million side tasks during yr13 so yh. Just a lot of things went wrong these 2 years and yh - just demotivated and stuff. which ik for u as GCSE student seems probs quite like arbitary but u will see defo at least one person go from straight 9s to much lower in a levels

Yeah i get you man, but even if you get like bbb or something like that, university's will still look at your all 9's and thats an advantage, but you still got time to revise for a-levels, just do lot revsion

honestly just any help, advice, tips is greatly appreciated
its just that any normal revision technique never seems to work for me - my concentration and attention span is basically 0 other than the few 30 mins after I get super stressed, and if I go on a break, I just dont come back until way later so pomadora is a definite no
I made a whole timetable for easter holidays - underestimated the amount of time it was gonna take and therefore did not follow it so yh
ik i should know by now what techniques work for me but i dont and yh thats not rlly helpful either
I used to revise by summarising topics onto one page - a levels is way too detailed for that
over easter I just watched vids/read notes online and made flashcards on the stuff i didnt know before
but since school has restarted, im at the point where the stress is paralysing me
(sorry idk how to dm - i legit just made this account today because I am desperate for any advice that'll work)

im literally in the exact same position as u rn (but AS exams) so maybe im not the best person to give out advice, but unfortunately its way too late to keep making detailed notes or do super elaborate revision methods.

for maths and chem ur just gonna have to bang out past paper questions. if u haven't finished ur notes and you're doing an english specification then just find some online, print them out, read through them and then head straight to past papers. when you get a question wrong, even if u only lose 1 or 2 marks, put it on a flashcard and memorise it. cant help u for bio cause i dont take it but i imagine its more or less the same as chemistry.

Im doing the scottish equivelant of AS levels same difficulty but Idont know about the coure. I do past paper questions per topic and use my notes at same time thats about it if I dont understand I ask chatgpt thats for CHem and bio. Maths look over notes first open up a past paper do it leave questions I didnt understand then do them once im done using my notes. English Idk about A levels but I ust need to emeorise like 6k words nd thats it. for business just common sense tbh. Im predicted all As and I know most stuff anyway so Im chillin

I haven't sat these exams yet so obviously I don't know how it feels but all I can say is this is the last stretch and you will always regret it if you don't put in the effort for just 2 more months (you will have the whole summer to do what you want). It now is no time for excuses and just get down to it.. I would suggest listing out all the topics you have on an excel spreadsheet, colour coding what is good, meh, terrible. Then first you will learn all your terrible content- bear in mind when exams are eg. if a paper 2 has like loads of time before it you will have to leave a big chunk of revision for the in between period- although get as much done as you can now. Also do smart revision and revise things you think are more likely to come up and if you see a topic and think- yea no way could I answer something to that then make up some potential questions and think of solutions etc..
Wish you the best!- I would love any tips you might have for a levels as someone doing them next year!
