ECA or GSA

Hey there! I have got offers from both GSA and ECA. But now I am struggling to pick, people who studied/are studying at these Universities, what do you like/ don’t like? I was offered Fine Art at eca and Environmental Sculpture at gsa. Thanks

Hey, I also got offers from both of these universities! I ended up choosing GSA as it is extremely specialised, and a VERY small institution - the intake numbers are tiny! So congrats on your offer! I like Glasgow as a city, in my opinion it has a better art scene and GSA has produced a number of very successful artists. The downside is that it is not in any way affiliated with a larger university, so you won't get to use facilities/ services that a larger uni may have (ie Edinburgh). If you're interested I got an offer for Fine Art at ECA and an offer for 2nd year direct entry for painting and printmaking at GSA. I would look into each of the cities and investigate what you like/ don't like about the cities themselves. Also look into the specific courses you received offers for on the university websites. If possible, book into some open days or online info sessions. :smile:
