Queen Mary or Southampton for Psychology?

Hi,
I’m planning to study Psychology and I’m deciding between Queen Mary and Southampton (still waiting to hear back from King’s too).

I live in London, so Queen Mary would be more comfortable, even though I’ll be moving into accommodation either way. I feel like I’d settle in quicker staying in London.
But looking at the modules, Southampton’s course interests me more I just haven’t visited the campus yet. I know about the rankings too, and I’ve also got offers from Surrey and Royal Holloway, but right now it’s mainly between Queen Mary and Southampton.

I visited Queen Mary the campus was alright, I didn’t love it, but it was fine.
Just wondering if anyone studying Psychology at Queen Mary or Southampton could share their thoughts?

Thanks!

Congratulations to your offers.

Don't let rankings decide for you. As far as both uni courses are accredited, there is no point referring to rankings.

Choose the uni according to your own preferences.

You like Southampton's modules more. Queen Mary's campus is not particularly appealing to you, or Queen Mary would unlike beat Southampton in this aspect. Do you have strong family ties? Settling into uni would be difficult to some people and family support would be vital for the change. I guess you are not as you are prepared to move out. So I would pick Southampton if I were you.

It's time to focus at the exam. Good luck.
