Can I do a 1 year foundation course at one uni if I have a deferred offer to another?

Applied to do architecture this year, but doing a foundation art year beforehand is becoming appealing as it would let me stay home, save money, hone in my design skills and it’s completely free!! I was thinking i could defer and do the fine art course , but would this even be allowed?? Or would I have to repeat the application process again and decline my offers this year? doing the whole application process again would be so frustrating… especially if I end up getting an offer from my first choice after so much struggle. Idk if I would wanna do it again😥😥

If you’re talking about a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design then yes. A FAD is an FE course and is outside the UCAS system.
You would need to withdraw your deferred application if you change your mind about what /where to study a degree. You can’t reapply through UCAS while holding a deferred place.
