Insurance choice fears

My insurance choice (Lancaster) requires AAB to get in but offerred ABB if i made it my firm, but on UCAS it says a 100% acceptance rate for those with offers that got BBB for my course. My firm (Nottingham) is also AAB to get into. I made my decision based on this BBB statistic but now im regretting it. My question is do i have a chance of getting into my insurance if i get lower than AAB now? Also if I have to go into clearing i would like to go to one of the Universities that i rejected the offers of if possible. Would they still offer me a place in clearing? Do they remember who they offered a place and does it affect whether theyll want to give you a place?

Congratulations to your offers.

Although the entry grades statistics were historical, they could still give an impression of how lenient the uni would be. So you would have reasonable chances of being admitted by Lancaster if you eventually get BBB.

So concentrate your efforts in the exam. You can do it.

You can ask Lancaster this question about whether they’re usually able to show some leniency on grades for your course.
If you end up in clearing then you can absolutely apply back to your original 5 choices. Most universities are more than happy to have applicants come back to them through clearing. It shows that you have been interested in them for months and are not just rushing into a decision

Hi @helloyesilizzie

While I'm not too sure how lenient the uni is with automatically considering you as an insurance choice, if you apply through clearing with the grades (and there's still spaces for the course open), you would likely be offered a place. You can ask [email protected] for specific questions.

Good luck with exams,
