Hello! Current student on the dual degree here:1) I was a student from the UK and I chose to apply via UCAS (UCL) for the following reasons 1) I had already completed the LNAT (HKU doesn't require it), 2) the entry requirements were lower (UCL only requires A*AA/39 IB points whereas HKU wanted 43 IB points/ the equivalent and 3) I preferred to write an additional personal statement rather than sit interviews. The HKU admissions seemed to be much more tailored to JUPAS/ local students, which didn't suit me 2) You can only apply to the dual degree via one uni or you'll be disqualified. You can apply for the regular LLB at UCL and then the dual degree through HKU, or vice versa. I don't think it makes sense to apply for both the dual and regular LLB at one uni, cause for HKU you have to be accepted to the regular LLB to then proceed to the dual, and if UCL thinks your application is strong you can still get an offer for the regular degree and not the dual (I know people who had this happen)3) This is up to you! I would point out that not knowing cantonese/chinese may make your experience at HKU harder, and it is a totally new experience. If I were you I would watch vlogs on being an HKU student and look at websites etc.4) I doubt the EPQ will count for much at HKU. UCL may consider it as a whole in your application but you're unlikely to get a reduced offer from it. It does show curiosity and could be a good talking point in the interview/personal statement though![url=https://www.google.com/url?sa=t
