Question if the whole class done bad in a test a d was the highest grade but in organic the average was B what grade would you put on their report as the teacher

Question if the whole class done bad in a test a d was the highest grade but in organic the average was B what grade would you put on their report as the teacher

The predicted grade I would award would reflect the overall performance across the whole paper (or set of them) and not just the best performed section.

If that means that a candidate got what roughly equates to a D overall, they get predicted a D - even if their organic section was well done. A level chemistry isn’t just organic chemistry after all…
