Hi, a style model serves as a model for your own original writing. It's a sample piece of writing in the genre you've chosen, demonstrating a particular style or approach that you want to emulate or adapt in your own work. For instance , I chose the power of storytelling, horror genre, so my style mode was “The tell tale heart by Edgar Allan Poe . I hope this helps, please ask more questions if needed😊

Oh I’m really glad to hear that 😂, I’m not sure about a whole novel as the power of storytelling is a short story, and has a specific word count for your original writing piece (750 word) , so I would say have a look at different short horror stories there are many by Edgar Allan Poe and others such as Roald Dahl ect but also a couple of tips which may help is obviously make sure you analyse your chosen style model but also think about when it was written as many by Edgar Allan Poe are old use old English or Middle English ect , another tip make sure when you write your commentary (comparing your story to theirs) include the similarities and why (obviously don’t copy the style model as you won’t get marks ) for example something like in both (style model) and (your story) whoever and I have employed onomatopoeia, to create suspense….. (obviously go into more depth, this is just a quick example 😂) I hope one this makes sense and two helps you , 😊
