Masters

Hi there. This is regarding a loam for masters. Is it possible to get a loan for masters as it was for undergraduate degrees? Would it cover the entire yearly fee of over £9000? Thanks

Hi @Jedo5

Student loans are available to Master's students but they work slightly differently to undergrad loans. Instead of receiving a maintenance loan and a tuition fee loan, your loan is paid directly to you, and then it's up to you on how you use it. Your loan will still be paid in installments across the year.

If you haven't had a look already, the Master's SFE breakdown on the Government website explains everything you need to know really easily. Here's the page: https://www.gov.uk/masters-loan
It also tells you more about loan eligibility, so you can see the criteria they use to determine how much loan you will receive.

Hope this helps. 🙂
