Physics with astrophysics degree at lancaster university

Hi, I have a offer for physics with astrophysics at lancaster university, really love learning how maths is used to describe why the physics works and i was wondering how much of this is taught in the course? essentially how mathsy the course is?

Any decent physics course will be a lot of maths, it is pretty much the whole point of physics. The webpage for 2025 entry has more detail than the 2026 entry one regarding course content: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/physics-with-astrophysics-mphys-hons-f3f5/2025/

Hi @izzymcaree

You can have a look at the page for 2025 entry however 2026 entry may be slightly different in terms of structuring. The details for modules will be out in June for 2026 entry so I'd recommend checking then. You can also ask a physics student specific questions here Ask a Student - Lancaster University

Hope that helps,
