Psychology Conversion Degree (BPS) MSc at Arden

Hello. I’m hoping to retrain and in order to change careers, first I need to do a Psychology Conversion Masters that’s accredited by the BPS. I am hoping to do this online to keep costs down and work during the week.

Has anyone done the course at Arden or Wolverhampton? Looking at these two as they’re a little cheaper than the others but I would also be willing to consider other online courses if they’re a better course. Can anyone recommend a uni they did this course at? Thank you!

Hello

I did my MSc Psychology (conversion) at Arden University and I had a great time; I had previously done a BA Hons Sociology degree at a traditional red brick university. I've now worked in further and higher education for over 10 years, and Arden definitely have the best virtual learning environment I have come across with easy access to tutors and journals. Student services were really helpful, although I didn't really need to speak to them that much - and that was during the Covid pandemic.

With Arden you would of course be eligible for a student loan (depending on your previous use of your student loan entitlement of course).

There are some details about the online learning programs here https://arden.ac.uk/online-learning

I was in the same boat at the beginning of the year and chose Wolverhampton. It looks like that was a big mistake because, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience.

If you are still interested in Arden, there is some cool stuff on the social media channels including updates on the virtual open days which are worth following. Instagram is my favourite

I have been enrolled at Wolverhampton online since the beginning of the year. If I had to give you an idea of what it's like to interact with the staff, imagine you owe someone a lot of money and haven't paid them back for a very long time. Nothing could be worse than this, I would strongly suggest that you choose Arden.
