Wanting to switch courses before recieving an offer

Hi I just wanted to ask whether it is possible for me to switch from CS to Econ at KCL, I have not yet recieved a KCL offer for CS but I have now switched interest into a different career path. I just wanted to know whether people have done this before and if so how should I go about doing it.
It's usually a case of contacting their admissions team and requesting a swap, (and offering to provide a new personal statement). However as their Econ course is (presumably) now closed to applications there is a chance they may just decline to consider you for an alternate programme. In that case you'll need to consider either a gap year and reapplication, or looking at other unis.

I see thank you, I have just messaged them whether the swap is possible and will wait to see what happens, if they decline I probably will just stick to my original course as I don't think asking them will negatively impact my current application (hopefully).

No, it won’t make any difference to your application if they say no to a swap.
